Miriam Schubach, born in Hamburg in 1984, studied costume design and scenography at the University of Applied Arts and Sciences in Hanover and at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. During her studies, she completed internships at the Opéra National de Paris and the Comédie Française. After completing her studies, Miriam Schubach worked as a costume assistant at the Staatstheater Stuttgart in the drama, opera, and ballet departments. She subsequently worked in production management in the drama/young opera and opera departments, as well as assistant to the costume direction in the drama/young opera and ballet departments.
Since 2018, Miriam Schubach has worked as a freelance costume designer.
Since 2020, she has been studying Fine Arts at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart in the installation, performance, and video class with Christian Jankowski and in the sculpture class with Sunah Choi.
Miriam Schubach lives and works in Hamburg and Stuttgart.
